If you are seeing something similar to this,  this trying to run the downloaded software :

Then for some reason that I don't know  you have set your browser not to save the file with extension. If this is the fact then rename the downloaded file to this : beekeping_hivenote.exe and you should se a file  showing up like this :

Click on this file and the installation should perform.
